Morgada costume
Representation of what would have been a way of dressing used by Minho women from wealthier families, although associated to agricultural exploration of countryside.
Blouse imitating silk blouses, black or dark woollen skirts sometimes with appliqués, with black velvet apron on top. In the head or around the neck they wore a dark silk scarf. Sometimes hung from her arms, could be seen woollen shawls, for colder days.
On their
feet they wore black slippers.
